I hate messenger softwares
I hate messenger softwares , they take hell a lot of time to start .Particularly msn messenger and yahoo messenger both start with a window which sometimes clogs the whole system .
But i think latest yahoo messenger 8.0 never opens any new window while it starts .May be even new msn could be better (Unfortunately i didnt try the new msn live messenger )
I prefer meebo.com web based client IM interface 100 times better than messenger softwares.Fast and easy login , Secure , Less CPU load ,Http based , Easy interface , Support for multiple messenger logins like msn , yahoo , icq, aol, gtalk .Well maintained by backup servers with out any downtime .
Its possible to keep track of meebo traffic stats map which updates every 15 minutes .

Unfortunately usage of meebo in my office is blocked.I use it only at my home :)
My search for another web based IM client continues .....

You can try eBuddy -http://www.ebuddy.com. This is also web-based and fast, so no hassle with software.
What I like about eBuddy is that you see display pictures and that they have a lot of emoticons. The whole service just looks a lot like the interface of MSN and Yahoo.
